Summary:

We are delighted to welcome Dr. Suzanne Zeedyk to lead the Spring Conference. Suzanne works with organisations keen to know more about the science of human connection and the implications it holds for the whole of our society.

She aims to bring together two core themes:  exploring scientific insights about human beings’ biological need for relationships and applying those insights to real life.

Suzanne’s work recognises that early emotional experiences leave physiological imprints on our brains and bodies, and  change the way we understand ourselves and our professional responsibilities to children.  We begin to see why connection offers the solution to all sorts of societal challenges, from educational attainment to prison rates to employment skills to economic growth.

This will be an interactive day and will give participants the background knowledge coupled with practical strategies including interventions that will have the most significant impact on early child development.

More information about Suzanne can be found  here on her website

All Early Years staff are warmly invited to attend this annual conference which is always a very enjoyable day and an excellent opportunity for networking.

Please register as soon as possible and by Friday 3 February at the latest.
