Across Scotland, there is a commitment to ensuring that our young people are supported to improve their understanding and use of numeracy, and our teachers are equipped with the knowledge, skills and confidence to drive up standards in this area.

The course will be led once again by Lynda Keith who has delivered many highly successful courses for SCIS.  This workshop will allow participants:

  • To explore the range of difficulties that children can experience in Numeracy.
  • To identify possible starting points within a progression framework.
  •  To take a closer look at particular resources which may support children in their learning
  • To explore meaningful contexts to engage children in learning.
  • To examine some case studies from the ASN sector which may impact on practice.

There will also be opportunities for networking and sharing good practice.

Please register as soon as possible and by Friday 28 October at the latest.
