School Description

George Watson's College is an all-through independent school for pupils aged 3-18. Our curriculum is based on sound pedagogical principles and encourages every child to discover the real pleasure of learning as well aspreparing them for success in Scottish National Qualifications. Most of our leavers go on to university before making their contribution to the world of work in a variety of sectors locally, nationally and globally. Our Family Foundationhelps to fund over 150 Foundation Places to broaden the access to a Watson's education and our outreach and partnership programmes benefit children, young people and adults in many local communities and further afield,George Watson's College is one of the schools of the Royal Company of Merchants of the City of Edinburgh.
