Event Description

This session explores the practical use of cognitive science in the classroom, covering essential concepts like cognitive load, memory, and retention to enhance how pupils learn, remember, and apply their knowledge across subjects.

You will leave equipped with practical tools to integrate cognitive science principles effectively, improving learning outcomes across all stages, from early years to adulthood.

This session is ideal for both primary and secondary staff.

We welcome Kirsten Colquhoun an experienced education consultant, author, and Pastoral Lead based in Scotland. With over 15 years working in schools, she is dedicated to helping educators create positive, inclusive, and impactful learning environments. Her work is rooted in both research and practice, and she regularly shares her insights at educational conferences and through consultancy.

**A joining link will be sent to delegates 24 hours in advance.**
